Supporting Innovation in E-commerce
qeen.ai has recently raised $10 million in seed funding to develop its platform of autonomous AI agents for e-commerce. Prosus Ventures led this round, with participation from Wamda Capital, 10x Founders, and Dara Holdings. This milestone brings qeen.ai’s total funding to $12 million.
Wamda Capital previously led a funding round for qeen.ai last year, during which the company secured a $2.2 million pre-seed round.
The startup was founded in 2023 by former Google and DeepMind colleagues Morteza Ibrahimi, Ahmad Khwileh, and Dina Alsamhan. It creates AI agents that perform tasks like content creation, marketing, and conversational sales. These services enable e-commerce businesses to automate operations and achieve performance improvements that surpass human capabilities.
“By building AI solutions that are both intuitive and accessible, we enable e-commerce businesses of all sizes to scale, innovate, and thrive in the evolving digital economy.”
Morteza Ibrahimi, qeen.ai CEO
qeen.ai Expansion Plans
The new funding will enable qeen.ai to enhance its platform capabilities, expand its team, and attract a larger customer base. The company has reportedly served over 15 million users since its launch in 2024 with its Dynamic Content agent. It has generated more than 1 million SKU descriptions and helped merchants achieve a 30% increase in sales.
The e-commerce market is currently experiencing rapid growth, driven by changing consumer behaviors and advancements in digital logistics infrastructure.
The MENA e-commerce market might reach $50 billion by 2025, with Saudi Arabia and the UAE being the primary drivers of this development. With its AI-driven solutions, qeen.ai can provide merchants with valuable tools to remain competitive.
