Local business owners looking to shell out smarter strategies can learn how artificial intelligence can streamline their workflow at a free seminar hosted by the University of Alabama and Alabama State University Small Business Development Centers, in partnership with the Central Baldwin Chamber of Commerce.
Titled “AI Unlocked: Empower Your Business with ChatGPT, Beautiful AI, and More!,” the hands-on workshop is set for Wednesday, Feb. 19, at the Loxley Civic Center. Doors open at 8 a.m., with the seminar running from 8:30 to 10 a.m. Parking is free, but registration is required at
Designed as a hands-on workshop, the seminar will introduce business owners to AI-powered tools such as ChatGPT, Beautiful AI and Canva. Attendees will receive step-by-step training on how to generate compelling content, create visually striking presentations and streamline daily operations to improve efficiency.
Leading the session is Andrea Rogers Mosley, director and lead business advisor for the Alabama Small Business Development Center and APEX Accelerator at Alabama State University. A veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps who served during Desert Shield and Desert Storm, Mosley has more than 14 years of experience in Alabama’s SBDC Network, helping entrepreneurs secure funding, expand their operations and sharpen their competitive edge. She has earned recognition as America’s SBDC “State Star” and holds degrees in human resource management and business counseling.
