I’m sharing this as a scam alert for social media creators, especially those promoting Fanvue or similar platforms.
To be clear:
- Fanvue itself is legitimate. I am an ambassador and have never experienced any issues from the actual company.
- The account involved was impersonating legitimacy, referencing Fanvue, and targeting creators who are actively trying to grow.
Scammers know that new creators are looking for shortcuts — and that’s exactly what they exploit.
How to Avoid Social Media Fraud for Creators
If you’re serious about growing your account safely, here are some key tips:
- Never agree to new payment terms after a deal is finalized
- Get all requirements in writing upfront
- Be cautious of “manager approval” tactics
- Don’t let urgency override logic
- Research beyond follower count
Learning how to avoid social media fraud for creators is an unfortunate part of modern content creation. Sometimes the lesson costs only $30, but it could save far more in the long run.
Final Reminder
If this post helps even one creator avoid a scam, it’s worth sharing. Build smart, protect your money, and grow strategically.
